Word of Hands Pastoral-Leader
Pioneer of the first ‘language Church’ in the UK led by using British Sign Language with English voice-over to ensure full access to the whole audience including Deaf, hard of hearing and hearing adults and children. This derives from the Bible’s teaching about ‘The Body of Christ’ where every part is different yet works together in the same body under the same Head, Jesus Christ. Jay took up a part-time employed role in September 2015 with Word of Hands and is longs to see many more come to know and receive Jesus Christ as their personal and loving Saviour.
Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus…” Philippians 4:4-9
