Word of Hands has set up CAP Money Advice Course. CAP stands for Christian Against Poverty. In this course, you will learn about how to save, spend and to control your finance. It is for ALL Deaf people.

When: Saturday 24th September 2016

Time: 10.00am – 4.30pm

Where: Riverside House, 21 Alcester Road, Moseley, Birmingham, B13 8AR

We provided refreshments, e.g. Tea, coffee and biscuits also CAP resources and handouts.

You need to provided your own packed lunch. There is a kitchen in Riverside House so you can use the fridge. Also to bring your bank statements. You only used it for yourself and not to show it to others.

What happened next? You need to send me your name and email address so Anna Smith (CAP Money Advice Trainer) will register you online so you will access to CAP resources, information and sports al all times.

If you want to become a trainer yourself after the course, please do book down a date on your diary.

Bereavement Care Awareness JPEG

What is it?
Bereavement Care Awareness is a one-day course designed to help and equip churches to provide effective support for those in their community suffering the pain and heartache of a close bereavement in the weeks and months after the funeral.

Who is it for?
Anyone who has a heart to support those in Word of Hands who have been bereaved.

How many people can attend?
A minimum of 12 attendees with a maximum of 24. Attendees can be from Word of Hands, BSL Home Group or the DLT course.

Who are they?
Speaker: Lindsay Lucas from CFF.
Two BSL interpreters: Danielle Hansbury and Liz McCartney.

How much does it cost?
£10 per person, to include refreshments. Please bring your own lunch.
