BSL Women of Wings

BSL Women of Wings (BSL WoW) is a BSL Women’s Ministry in UK as well as to provide opportunities, equipping and encouragement for Deaf or Hearing women who use British Sign Language (BSL) and from aged 18 onwards to grow into maturity in Christ through worship, fellowship and Bible study in their daily lives.

The purpose of the WoW is to glorify God by challenging women:

  • To have support and encouragement each other to know God personally.
  • To grow in Christlikeness through life experiences.
  • To have a fellowship and worship together with the Lord Jesus Christ.
  • To love and serve others for God’s glory.
  • In all we do those things in unity with God, His Son and the Holy Spirit.

The mission of  BSL Women of Wings (BSL WoW)

Worship
Inspiration
Nurturing
Goodness
Spirit-filled

Our aim of the name ‘WINGS’ is also linked to encourage women to soar on wings like eagles by renewing their strength through God’s power:

“Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men (women) stumble and fall, but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles, they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.” Isaiah 40:30-31

BSL WoW is under the supervision of Word of Hands and we are so exciting to launch this new project, even arranging our first day conference ever, which will be on the 18th of February 2017! Please click here (PDF flyer) for more information.

Hope see you there!
